FAMILY QUIZ NIGHT

A big thank you to everyone who supported the quiz. It was a very enjoyable evening and raised £239 for the club.

THE BIG BAG PACK – A DATE FOR YOUR DIARY

Following the success of the Sainsbury’s bag pack last Christmas, a date has already been arranged for this year. Please put SUNDAY 21^ST DECEMBER in your diary. If we can cover the whole five hours we might be able to break the £1000 mark!

WALSWORTH FESTIVAL

The Walsworth Festival will take place on SUNDAY 18^TH MAY from 10.00 – 3.00pm on Walsworth Common (opposite the Sailor Boy pub on Woolgrove Road). We have been given the fantastic opportunity of organising the car parking and selling programmes. And the best bit is – we get to keep the money we take! We would also like to be able to run a stall, to raise both more, much-needed funds and the profile of the club in the community. This, of course, takes manpower, and women and children power too. As an added incentive, any profit made on the day will be split equally between the teams, to be spent on something that is important to you and your team.

For Health and Safety reasons only adults can man the car parking and 5 people are needed per shift. That is a minimum of 20 adult volunteers if we are to cover the most important first four hours. The latest-fashion, high-visibility jacket will be provided! In addition, more parents and children are needed to sell programmes and run the stall.

We realise this makes a demand on your time, but it is a golden opportunity to raise money. The more volunteers we have, the more money we will raise and the more your team will benefit. So don’t delay, fill out the form today and return it to your manager by the beginning of May.
