A Brief History

Season 2008/2009
The team first started playing in September 2008 as Under 9's. Phil Gregory soon spotted two likely mugs, er, sorry candidates to manage (Tim) and coach (Rob) the team. In their first season the girls who were playing 5-aside football in the Hertfordshire Girls Football Partnership league rapidly improved. Finishing second to Knebworth Youth, and even managing a stunning 4-3 victory over their otherwise unbeaten rivals in the last game of the season.

Season 2009/2010
Their second season playing 7-aside as Under 10's was equally fantastic, finishing 3rd in the league and making it to the Semi-finals of the County Cup and runners-up in the League Cup final.

Season 2010/2011
Their third season sees the girls playing 7-aside in the Herts Girls Football Partnership league as Under 11's. Rob is now the manager/coach. Here's to another fab season.

Matches are normally Saturday mornings.

Training

Training takes place at Ickleford Sports & Recreation Ground on Wednesday's between 6 pm & 7.30 pm.
